What dishwasher do you recommend?

I spent almost $800 3 years ago on a Maytag dishwasher. I am extremely unhappy with it. Everything comes out dirty. We've used every different soap under the sun and always use a rinse aid. Now the dishwasher is recalled and I intend to buy a new one and get the rebate. I have had other Maytag appliances that were wonderful, but now am unsure if I want another Maytag dishwasher. The only way to get a rebate is to purchase a stainless steel Maytag. I have switched all my other appliances to stainless steel anyways so this was our plan anyway. Does anyone have a Maytag that they really like or dislike? I am a busy mom with 4 kids who does not have time for a crappy dishwasher. Any comments are appreciated! Thanks in advance.
