Age of consent. Someone please explain this in a way anyone can understand?

Well it basically means your old enough to have , and with other adults and it also meaning your an "adult" in their eyes. If you were under this age and had with somebody at or above this age he/she could be charged with statutory . Laws vary by state in terms of age etc. The best bet is not to have with anybody above this age until your 17 or if somebody ratted you out he/she may be looking at some charges. Stat. is a big deal as well, your basically branded as a rapist and thrown into the rapist category and have to go through the ual offedender stuff.
