The character in my fantasy is an in. How can I make him cool w/out ripping off of AC?

He's an in who looks bad-*** and and sly but he's not evil. He's very intellectual and inquisitive, and likes poetry and books. Very handsome, fair, shoulder-length hair, tall and has a nice bod. I'm just beginning to realize that he has alot in common with AC characters, like Altair and Ezio. I have played the moble version of AC1 & 2 and done research on it on Wikipedia to make sure I don't copy off of it. But I wish my in could be better than theirs without ripping off... Can you help? 20 points.
