Do you think its appropriate to call a second time to check the status of an application for employment?

I interviewed at a CVS Pharmacy during St.Patricks day weekend last month. The interview went well and all they needed was for my backround check to go through which the interviewer said shouldn't take more than three days. After about a week, I called to get an update and he simply told me that my results hadn't come back yet. Its now April 14th, would it be unwise of me to check again? I wouldn't bother if I wasn't interested in working there and I know that my Background is kosher. What do you think people?
