Exercise question for a 20 year old girl?
30 minutes of ab work every day is way too much. All you really need for your abs is 4 sets of crunches 3 times per week otherwise you'll overtrain. Really the best thing for showing your abs is cardio and diet because the ONLY way your abs will show is if your body fat is 8% or less. If you do lots of ab work and don't lose the fat then the muscles underneath will only push your belly out further. Your meal plan looks okay. It's good to have 5-6 smaller meals per day like you have. The protein shakes after workout will help you build muscle, but actually any meal with protein will help you build muscle. Your muscles continue to grow even after the initial workout day, however in order to grow muscle you need to eat ALOT of calories. You can either burn fat or gain muscle, but not both at the same time. I'd work on burning fat because that's the only way to show those abs. Once they start showing you can start bulking to really make them pop.
