How to direct/collect/focus sunlight at one point?

Hello, is it possible to collect sunlight and focus it as a concentrated beam at one point. Possibly a series of mirrors, prisms, or some other contraption? Was looking at fiber optic cables, but seems like it would require technology out of my reach.
