Most ich medications have the same ingredients. Since you have already bought some I would just use it according to the directions. It is very curable. If the medication warns that it might kill your plants, perhaps you can set up some sort of alternative home for them temporarily. Just get a rubbermaid container and put them in it while you are treating the tank.
