Welding in the military?
I'm a male college junior and due to recent cutbacks in federal grant programs, I can no longer afford to go to school, I'm expecting a child and need a career to support my family. I've never had an interest in welding but I know it has a positive job outlook and well-paid. Since I also can't afford to go to welding school, is there welding training in the military? What branch? What scores on the ASVAB do you need to make? What prior skills should I have already? What is traning like? Welding is completely different than what I was going to school for originally, M Communication, so what will the transition be like? This is serious, so please be srious, thank you!
