Having difficulty cancelling auto insurance with allstate?

They do not require proof. They are being stubborn & don't want to let a paying customer go let alone have to refund your money. If they persist, file a complaint w/ the BBB. That's like a slap in the face to them. The only people that may require proof if insurance is your lender. Per your contract you will have to provide them with proof. Understandable.
