Should i join the RAF?

i have wanted to join the raf since i was about 10 or 11 now i can have the chance because i will be 16 soon but i don't know if it is the best choice my boyfriend does not thing i should because i am young and have my life ahead of me but he know it is up to me he also says he will worry loads about me and i don't want to have people worried about me the job im thinking of goin for is an air steward should i do it people if i dont but im gona become a nursery nurse i have wanted to do that just about as long answer plz
