What Should I check When My Washing Machine Does not Rinse Cycle?

I have a whirlpool front loader that has just stopped rinsing. It takes in water and spins but it does not pump out water and just clicks through to the next cycle? We don't have a manual and thought it might be the pump filter that needs a clean but do not know where to locate it and what it looks like? Everything looks ok as far as I can see. It does have a bit of a leak. Settings at the front are; Programs nob, spin speed nob temperature nob, options 7 ons & detergent despencer.
